Just noticed i didnt realise the Weber made gas go-anywhere bbq. Edit and now a Weber Go-Anywhere Bag! pretty handy i guess but i like the fun of getting the charcoal going!
Argg just paid £62 for mine. Did look at the go outdoor but they won't do them as delivery so would have had to drive an hour away to get one so all saving would have been lost.
Just a heads up if you saw it on garden furniture 4 less if you go to the home page it's saying 79.99 even though Google says 59.99 just in case that where you saw the price
I bought a Weber Go Anywhere last year and it's fantastic. As has already been mentioned, it excels at indirect cooking and maintains a consistent heat. I often use mine to cook spatchcock chickens. They are also handy if you are camping somewhere that doesn't allow a fire as you can just chuck a heatlog on there once you've finished cooking :-).
It was also a saviour when we went camping in the Peak District in November. It was snowing and I couldn't get enough heat out of my Camping Chef stove so was glad to be able to whip up some breakfast on the BBQ.
------------- 2019 trips booked so far:
Easter - Red Shoot, New Forest
May - Secret Campsite, Sussex
I put about 16 bbq briquettes in a small chimney starter. Once they've ashed over put them in one side of the bbq. Leaves enough room for 4 burgers on the opposite side, add some of your favourite wood chips (I like Jack Daniels flavour from B&Q). When they're ready we put in some sausages then after that some chicken. Basically it takes all evening to eat, drink and chat. Weber charcoal will stay hot for a good 3-4 hrs
