Hi there, we are looking to purchase a new awning for our Bailey Ranger GT60 540/6. We currently have two different types of awning, a large canvas Isabellla and also a Sunncamp porch awning. We are looking to purchase the biggest porch type awning that we can find as we find the canvas awning too much of a pain to put up, but our porch awning is not big enough. We have three sons and like to have lots of room to sit in the awning and also store numerous bikes/scooters etc. We are currently looking at the Kampa Rally 520 pro awning at the moment, does anyone have any experience with one of these awnings or can you recommend a similar type/size please? Thanks for your help.
We have a Kampa 390 pro ample size for me the OH and our 3 small dogs. Not saying that Kampa are the best because lots of good quality awnings about.
We have been very pleased with ours the material in the pro range is very good and they are fairly stable in windy conditions.
Some excellent awnings about now, good luck with a difficult choice, I suppose everyone has a favourite make/brand. Size, quality and value for money also come into play for some people.
What about something with an annex like the Kampa Rally Plus range or Kampa Acce with annexe .
You could use the annex without an internal liner for storage but won't need the extended straight roof rail for the largest of the Porch awnings, or possibly lose window views as you would with a longer awning
We have a Rally Club 390 but part of me wishes we had gone for the Plus as this extra space would be ideal on longer trips as well
