Just brought a Abbey safari 470 2 berth 2002, was shown around it, but was wondering, does the electric hook up go inside the battery box? if it does, the door will be open being exposed to the elements. So have i missed another plug in point
Thanks
Neil

If the socket is inside the box there will be a slot to route the cable through so you can close it properly.

Plug the hook up cable into the socket in the battery box. Then look on the hinge edge of the battery box door where you will see a small cut-out for the cable. With the door held about half open there will be enough space to slide the cable between the door and the caravan wall until it fits in the cut-out. You can now close and lock the door...
