What did we Think?

Outwell ECOcool Grey 35L UK

This is a very large coolbox with two lids allowing you reach either side to get what you need. The coolbox can be run from 12 volt or mains power. To break up the two compartments there is a divider which you can fill with water, freeze and then acts as additional cooling for the coolbox.

We did find this cool box had loads of space and easily fitted the weekends beer and wine, plus all the perishables that needed to be chilled.

The coolbox also has a heating function as well as cooling, however we did find the motor to be rather noisy, however once used to it, it just blended into the background.

Outwell Puffin Blue

We love the Outwelll Puffin Blue coolbag and has been used for many picnics, days out over the summer. The cooling bag part is fully detachable form the outer bag, so you can put thi sin the fridge over night to help with the cooling process. To carry the coolbag one can either use the standard handles, or it has a shoulder strap that connects together and makes the carrying very simple.

This coolbag has a large capacity and we found it plenty big enough for sandwiches, drinks, fruit, etc and ideal for a family of four going on a picnic or camping for the weekend.

Does anyone know if you can buy the dividers for the 35l coolbox as a separate/replacement item? someone at the last campsite we visited managed to confuse ours with theirs and it doesn't fit anymore. I have tried emailing outwell but their customer service just told me they don't sell to the public and to try a supplier, which is about as helpful as the inflatable dartboard I bought last year!!
