Just looking for advice on dealing with condensation inside our tent. There are only 2 of us in the tent and we normally take kitchen roll to wipe over the inside daily to reduce the condensation. we always do this before packing the tent away.
How effective are damp traps or dehumidifiers?

Waste of time in a tent ... the air is pretty freely circulated from outside, so the absorption won't change what's in the tent.
I'd leave them alone.
If the inside air is warmer than the outside (inevitably), you will get condensation ... unless you have a multi-layered skin!

Damps traps left for weeks in a sealed container will work. Not suitable for a tent.

Dehumidifier will need several hours to take a cup full of moisture out.

Let more air flow through, Are all the vents open? Leave the flaps open more, Especially if you boil a kettle or cook inside.

damp traps, chocolate teaspoon comes to mind.
Damp forms because it has nowhere else to go, ventilation is the answer and breathable fabric

Using a dehumidifier in a tent is like using an ashtray on a motorbike (hopeless)

It won't work due to the air flow outside. you will have to just carry on with the kitchen towls
