If you can stand it, have a look at this thread on the trip report part of forum. Scroll through all the photos and you can see the oven in the cook tent and towards the end the photo with the apple crumble made in the oven.
We were able to easily cater for 7 people using the two gas burners and the oven, its a highly versatile piece of kit .

GCMS2012 I've got to be honest I'm a bit of a Costco fruit loop. As a general rule, if they sell it I generally like it and although their stuff is sometimes pricey, it's generally because it's quality gear.
thebiz - loving your pictures and your trip! Looks like a real adventure and quite a gourmet event!!
We're off to. France for 5 weeks in the summer in the tent so it's a slightly more 'permanent' set up that I'm after.
Looking at reviews of this from the US it says that it comes with a griddle plate - no mention of this on the Costco spec. Does it?
Three members of the group I camp with own similar but different makes of ovens. There's the Costco red shiny oven , a Kampa Roastmaster and the Campingaz one which Teekayk has.
The Costco and Kampa ovens are of similar size and shape, while the Campingaz one is deeper and more squat, really only significant as far as packing the car goes, I don't think the actual oven size is significantly different.
My friends Costco oven didnt come with a griddle but she managed to get one which fits perfectly over the two burners from Lidl .
I know each one regards their oven as essential equipment now.

This looks identical to my Roastmaster, by Kampa. The only difference seems to be the colour. Mine is shiny and chrome. Maybe it's just a copy maybe they are badged afterwards and made by the same manufacturer. Either way it is very good although it can be tricky keeping the temperature from soaring in the oven, even at low heat. I like it and only recently saw one which would be better, ie has a toaster. However it cost £500 and was seen in the chandlers for use on a boat. It also had 3 rings and a grill. Nice! We cook on this with ease and give it 4.8 / 5.
