I'm really surprised more people haven't responded to this thread, as it's a good price for a high quality, biggish table which can accommodate a parasol and - best of all - folds in half for easier transporting.

Thanks OP, ordered!

Yes, thanks for that OP. We went for the Arizona table and 4 chairs. Hoping never to need to replace - ever

Even though quite a few £££s I feel like we've saved a fortune!

Thanks for the link. I bought a Mayotte table (the Arizona is a just bit too big).

It's just arrived.... a great table, nice and light and a major advantage to have the adjustable legs.

I had my eye on the Arizona, however after buying a Kampa hi lo table last year and it slowly falling apart, I resent buying a new table. Especialy after my Lidl table lasted 3 years and went a bit wonkey after a BBQ and someone fell into it after too many Sherry's....v tempted

We opted for the Victoria chairs. Two for £75. Here's the link http://www.lafuma.co.uk/index.php?p=products&pid=746&prodname=lafuma%20victoria%20twin

They don't recline but they are for using at the table so not 'lounging'.

Have you noticed the velcro discs on the underside? I assume prevent a cover blowing away maybe

Ours has just arrived.

I think the velcro discs are to fasten the table halves together when folded.

Table is nice quality, not as firm and sturdy as our old Dukdalf but still good, and ideal for what we want (ie a big table with small pack size).

You can get up to 6 x Lafuma CNO chairs around it.

I've changed my mind about the Hawai table, and sent it back for the following reasons:

The middle joint is raised, which means you can't put anything on top of it. This means you can't easily use this as a 4-seater table (if you want to position one chair on each side), without those people positined on the long sides being offset (if you see what I mean).

Also, if you want to use it as a 6-seater, although you can get 2 x Lafuma CNO chairs on each long side of it - just - on a 'dry run, t's a different matter when you have adults sitting on those chairs and then the table legs get in the way (as they're set in a bit from each end, obviously).

In short, I bought this because I wanted a larger table in a smaller pack size. The parasol hole was a bonus. But, I really hadn't anticipated that centre ridge, or the fact that you then have to position plates to either side of it so can't sit centrally to each side. So, it's a bit of an anomoly: a six-seater table that's not really big enough to comfortably accommodate six chairs (but might be okay for kids on either side, on benches or stools).

The Lafuma Hawai, although well made, is nowhere near as sturdy or robust as our Dukdalf table and I also prefer the big feet on the Dukdalf, which helps spread the load a bit. The feet on the Dukdalf also have holes in, for pegging down when necessary (you can leave the Dukdalf out in all weathers, and peg it down so no chance of it blowing over).

I don't think I've ever seen a Hawai in stores, and possibly wouldn't have realised it's downfalls (from my perspective) if I hadn't had chance to properly assess it and put it next to our existing table to work out the pros and cons.

So, rather an expensive way of checking the table out (carriage costs are stupidly high, because of the pack size and weight - almost 11kgs) but at least now I know, so can stop hankering after one!

Someone on here pointed me in the direction of 'wake industries ltd' they make very solid aluminium folding tables for commercial use , schools etc .   They had some overstock items they sent me a link to on eBay . Think I negotiated £50 for the table and did a baca payment to them .   It's rock solid , light and I doubt it would ever need replacing , it could easily handle a hole being drilled for a parasol . Fit nicely in to my roof box as the first item. I think there's a video on there website of the boss (a big bloke ) standing and jumping up and down on one.... If your interested call them and tell them you just want it for camping as they normally sell them in bulk . They still may have clearance stuff .
