Try rubbing the carpet with your foot clad in a croc or similar rubbery soled shoe. I bought a rubber broom from Lakeland See here which is great too. Febreeze for the smell, or if you really want to wash it again use a small amount of carpet shampoo in a bucket of water, work it in with the rubber broom (get rid of the hair first!), then hose off and hang on the line to dry.
Loving you guys. Knew Id get a solid answer in here.
My wife wanted to chuck it but other than the evidence of dogs its in great condition. Will have to find a quiet Sunday afternoon (easier said than done with two under 3's) and get to work on it.
Your local laundrette will have a machine big enough to cope with it.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I just put mine outside on the patio and get the hoover out on it to get rid of any dog hairs, then it goes in the washer, but couldn't you just take it to a laundrette in the bigger washines to wash it?

Yes, rubber works well, I use a rubber type 'curry comb' on my hands and knees when our dog is melting! Gut said 'curry comb' from Go Outdoors or anywhere that sell horse grooming equipment.

God your dog melts poor thing, maybe a bucket and spade would be better
------------- It's better to ask a silly question than make a silly mistake.
We use a Vax carpet shampoo machine - it's very effective in the house for getting rid of the same hair and any smells in the carpets. You can hire them, but it's cheaper to borrow from a friend - someone will have one.
