The difference I'm talking about, is the inside of the fr35 is a continuous mould (I don't know how else to describe it) like a normal coolbox. Unless I'm mistaken (and that's quite likely) the inside of the fr40 doesn't look like it's the same. Just of thinking of cleaning it. My fr35 performed very well in a hot tent (some days. Lol) in Cornwall.
Yep, Helen I can understand what you mean, but I think it makes little if no difference, it would seem now that the FR35 and FR40 are almost the same price on the German website's now, how mad is that I am now even more certain that the FR35 will be EOL towards the end of the summer, will be interesting to see how long the FR35 remains on the Mobicool website.
And as for fleck2 what a jammy fellow buying an FR40 when he did.
Same smugness here too, on that recent price increase on the fr40. Just under 300€ last week, which equated to 240 something sterling.
Using it as we speak, and have to say I'm delighted.
... And the bonus is, 8 bottles of San Miguel fit perfectly in that recess under the gubins... And I mean perfectly! Less than quarter inch clearance on the height, and about a fag papers thickness on the end of each row of 4!

Not to worry Helen, I am waiting for the powers that be to negotiate that promised trade deal with China, that the E.U. Could not manage.
Then we will be able to buy portable compressor Fridges like the FR40 that have been imported directly from China for around £9.50!
Of course like Canada it will take them until the 12th of never to cut any kind of deal, as the UK does not have any competent negotiators, as the E.U. did all the negotiating.
Although I heard today that Newzealand has offered to lend there negotiators to the UK.
