Hi all, Has anyone used a roof bag with inflatable bars? I have a Hyundai accent with no roof bars and with 2 dogs in the boot and 3 kids in toe, I am looking for ways to get all the gear to fit in? I don't have a tow bar either! Any ideas welcome, Not going for a while yet until I can solve this problem? Thanks in advance a frustrated single mum

Not keep on them, They will be rubbing the paintwork and the straps will have to pass through the car which may damage the door seals.

Sister has some universal roofbars that fixed into the door opening and when it rained it let water into the car.

Get some proper roofbars, Not the universal fit ones.

I guess the RoofBags are OK, although RoofBox for me every time, but I would only ever go for Steel or Ali RoofBars.

Last year we got the Mont Blanc Classic (Bars+Feet) for the Mk6 Golf cost was £85 next month the car gets changed to the Mk7 Golf, so I have now purchased the Foot Pack for that model £20.

The Mont Blank Classic are well made and the Bar's are made of thick section Steel so won't be kinking.

Far cheaper than buying OEM Bars, and I am more than happy with the Mont Blanc Classic arrangement.
