Intex airbed with built in pump. It doesnt say on the front of the box if its a single, double or king? Its 152cm across I think looking at the measurements on the bottom left of the box. Is that smaller than a double?

Anyone already got this bed? Thanks

a single bed is 90 cm a double bed is 130 so that measurement you gave would be a kingsize

Hi

It's a US Queen size, which is more or less the same as a UK King size.

We have one, but we haven't used it yet, so can't comment on comfort or reliability. We did blow it up to make sure there were no leaks and it felt quite comfortable.

Have seen mixed reviews on here, some have had good experiences, others have reported leaks.

It says 3yr guarantee on the box so if ut leaks I assume Intex would replace it?

Yes, it's around 5 foot wide and I have one. I haven't used it yet this year as it goes in an annexe on my seasonal pitch but used it last season and it was great. Really comfortable and only needed topping up a couple of times over the 4 months it was inflated.

We have the Intex double height Queen size with built in pump/deflator.
We have had it for 7-8 years, one of the comfiest beds to sleep on.

It is occasionally use as a guest bed now and have never really needed to top the air up.

If you use it for camping and insulate from ground properly, you will be fine and toasty!

Will it fit in your bedroom pod? Our pod is 137 cm wide, so only a double fits.

We used to have an intex with built in pump, I stupidly left it in the tent a few years ago fully inflated in 30 degrees heat. It went pop! Up until that, it was a great bed and was sorely missed.

Might be ok but haven't used one myself. I had some of the cheap foam laminate flooring underlay (white stuff, comes in a roll) and it worked a treat when tent camping. We also used a mattress topper and never felt the cold in our sleeping bags..
The Intex bed we have has aircoils inside which stops the bed sagging when you sit on the edge.
We paid about £50 - £60 all those years ago but money well spent.

We have both pods unzipped so its like 1 large pod.

We have had 2 Intex Queen double height beds and they are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and that includes the water bed I use at home. The first lasted 4 years in a seasonal awning and only needed topping up on an odd occasion. The second was only used for a couple of months as we changed to a static but still gets used as a spare bed at home. We used a different make (can't remember the make) when we were camping and always had flattened cardboard boxes to put underneath for insulation. On the seasonal it was different with timber frame topped by strand board and then rubber backed carpet, on top of the bed 15 tog duvet, fleece mattress protector, electric blanket, sheet and a 15 tog duvet to cover us. Very, very toastie, and can withstand our combined weight of approx. 30 stone. The first one cost £19 and the second £39.99 but in my opinion good value for money.

Well I have just bought one. In cream. So nice to be a bit higher off the ground! Must admit though, when hubby moved, i bounced!!! Like sleeping on a bouncey castle hehe!

Our must be a different model as there is no "bounce or sag" when one person gets out of the bed.
Does your version have air coils built inside, thats what prevents the "bounce" effect..lol
