Hi
I am looking for a towbar mounted bike rack and have found one that kI like availbale in Germany for £100 less than the UK. I am trying to check if the light board and trailer sockets are likely to be of the same spec. The bike rack I'm looking at is the Atera Strada DL 2.

They appear to have 13 pin connections which is pretty standard now. However if your vehicle has the older 7 pin socket then you can buy an adaptor.

I think two rear fog lights is the norm in Germany, but UK have one OS.

A foreign supplied bike rack with built in lights may or may not include foglight, the cheaper ones do not. I don't really think it matters though if single fog light is on left side. Most likely you will not be driving in fog so it won't get noticed. If you are worried then remove bulb.

we have just purchased a towball mounted rack, Buzz Rack

very well made and easy to put on and off the car.

Thanks all, we need a rack that comes away from the vehicle so you can access the rear of the vehicle, we have a vw transporter with barn doors.
