Hi,
I am looking to buy a gas strut for my Daxara 127 trailer, which is fitted with an Erde hardtop. I bought the trailer second hand, and the strut was missing. Ebay have replacements for about £50 which may mean that I continue to use a broom handle to prop it open!
If somebody who has one fitted to their trailer could give me a clue to the length of the strut and any more details about its specification (load, part number etc.), I would be really grateful.
I am hoping to be able to find a similar part for much less.
Thanks
Check this company out. I think someone on here recommended them.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Try sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts. They are a lot cheaper and can also regard your strut cheaply. Their website tells you how to measure a strut. Great service when I replaced the bed struts on our caravan about £16 each
