I apologise if this is a duplicate thread - but I'm after some advice. I need a new sleeping bag and am looking to purchase either Royal Umbria Warm Large King Size Sleeping Bag 60oz or Warm Extra Large Fleur Sleeping Bag 60oz.
I would live some feedback on anyone whose using one of these. I can feel the cold, so would like to be toasty warm without breaking the bank. I do not want a Mummy style bag, as I like a bit of room to move about lol
Haven't got any experience of these bags, but you need to look at the season rating of the bag. A three season should be good enough for late Spring to early Autumn, also they should state what the comfort level is. My Snugpak is rated for comfort down to -5 but it's fine all year. Also the mummy style bag will keep you warmer if you can get used to them. The same as outdoor clothing, the closer fit something is the warmer you will be, ie less wasted space around you that takes heat from your body.

we like the vango ones. just check comfort raings etc. use a liner!!!! easy to wash these, rather than killing the bag with repeated washing (and the washing machine).
I had looked at these before deciding to go for regular double duvet in a plain cover each, we insert our SIM in one side and fold it over similar to a sleeping bag but there isn't a zip so I just tuck the end of the bed under and leave the top open (or bottom open too if too hot).
As hubby is over 6ft tall I did have to purchase him a king size to keep his feet warm but other than this we are now happy (I don't like sleeping bags and these now feel more like a real bed).
