Hello everybody!
I haven't been on here for ages! Lost the bug a bit, well, I didn't really lose it but we just haven't had any chance to go camping at all.
Anyway, I am planning to change that this year. We have an inflatable tent to make weekends more achievable but what I was wondering is about something to sleep on.
Over the past couple of years we have had air beds, sims and now camping beds with the canvas and steel legs to pull into place. These beds are the most comfortable I have experienced and I am very impressed with them, especially as they only cost £14.99.
However, I take the children camping by myself and a lot of the time we can only manage one night. By the time the tent is up and everything else is sorted, including the beds which take me a long time, it seems a lot of work for one night.
I am now looking possibly at another type of bed for just one night, something like a camping mat that just goes on the floor. I appreciate it won't be very comfortable but for one night we should be able to cope.
Does anybody use a camping mat or could anybody suggest anything else that is cheap and doesn't take too much space in the car or too long to sort out.
Thanks ever so much. Sorry it is long winded!
