Good Afternoon

Can anybody recommend any decent ice packs for the coolbox that last more than a few hours. I recently replaced my old ones with some cheapish ones that are garbage. Probably serves me right for being tight. Before i replace them just thought it was worth asking for opinions and advice.

I recently purchased some Camping Gaz M30's which seem to have a good reputation, won't be trying them out though for three weeks.

If find the thicker they are the longer they last.

I also put a large bottle of milk frozen in the middle of box, plus anything else that will freeze, helps to keep the box cold.

i always have some milk chilled, some frozen too. anything frozen keeps the box colder longer while slowly defrosting.

Last summer we switched to buying a bag of ice at the supermarket every 2 days and found it much more effective than any ice packs we have ever owned

Just use a 2 litre plastic bottle of mineral water. Cheap and you can drink the water as it defrosts.
