Hello,
I am trying to cut down the amount of stuff we take camping this year, futile though this may be. One option I was considering was to get rid of the big dual burner stove that we have, it's a campingaz one with storage underneath. As we have the big calor bottle with loads left, I wondered whether it would be possible to get a splitter for the hose and run two small stoves from the bottle instead. However, when I've looked, the small stoves all appear to be the sort that screw on to a bottle. Is this possible / recommended, or am I doing the proverbial in to the wind?

Look on Hamilton gas products website. Single burner rings that connect to gas bottle via pipe/regulator there.

Haha Frazzle, loving your plan. However, we already have a trailer and roof box!!! That's one reason why trying to save space, last year we were quite squashed in.
Alternatively, maybe a new trailer / car......?

Hey sleepyol, you must have been speaking to Mr F about trailers!
We now have a Brenderup 1150 with abs. Started with a 102 and a flat cover - well actually started with a roof box but that is another story.....
So another suggestion some have roof boxes on their trailers and on their cars. Seems a bit much, but who knows when ours grow up and we have 3 teenagers we may have to do just that.
