I have a 3 foot high wooden poled windbreak, it gives good shelter from the wind for cooking whilst not isolating us from neighbouring campers.

, I think I only paid about £35 for mine.
The are easy to put up and fairly compact when packed away.

I have the Isabella Acryl it has metal poles which slide onto spikes you hammer into the ground and it has cross poles for the top, if you use the supplied guy ropes and pegs it stands up to almost anything but they are expensive aprox £200
