Hi there

My husband wants to buy these but I was wondering if anyone has them and what their opinion of them is. Also, does anyone know where you can buy them apart from importimg from USA as that makes them more expensive.

Camping world have one but they don't look anywhere near as good. Lot cheaper though.

Crikey not sure I'd trust my kids on these, they don't look that sturdy although they've obviously been vigorously tested, not sure I'd have full peace of mind it wouldn't collapse

there have been a few posts on here in the past regarding these beds, the consensus was that on any grass pitch they where dangerous as if not totally flat and solid they could very easily topple over, and bearing in mind that tents have sewn in groundsheets you couldn't even peg them down well

We have the XL cam o bunk, it is the same size as a 3' single bed, we use 6cm memory foam mattress toppers on them, we have tried all methods of camp beds, including fishing bed chairs and nothing comes close for comfort. The original thought was for them to be used for the wife and daughter, but they were too comfortable so the child lost out Stability wise, we have no issues, but I did buy the optional rubber feet for the bottom bunk, this was done to protect groundsheet. They are very heavy duty, and are quite heavy, but when packed down take up about the same room as 2 of our old comfort cots we bought from GO. The offset for these is cost, they are expensive, the cheapest way to buy new at the moment is to buy direct from http://www.discobed.de/ use google to translate, they are very efficient in communication via e-mail, and in english too. Thats how I did it, this enabled me to get the feet and leg extenders as well. Don't confuse these with the Quest bunk beds, the cam o bunks are in a completely league! Hope this helps
