I can't see past my igloo max cold. Used it during heatwaves home and abroad for weeks at a time. Great cool box. Igloo max and Coleman extreme much of a muchness.

We have an Aldi electric cool box with eco switch (similar to the Outwell Eco) and an Igloo max cold but only trust the Igloo in hotter weather as the Aldi coolbox only cools a certain amount below ambient.
I always place the milk and fresh meat beside/below a cool block to ensure it's in the coldest spot in the box and cover the cool box with a wet towel.
The Igloo max cold and the Coleman extreme are both rated 5 days but the insulation on the Igloo is thinner making it slightly smaller on the outside than the Coleman equivalent.

Hi chrisandsandra
Can you let me know how noisey / quiet the outwell Eco cool box is... ( or anyone else who has one! )
Many thanks!
We are planning a 'test run' at home tomorrow.
I believe that the box is quite noisy on start up but a lot quieter once down to temp or on the 'eco' setting.
We currently have the removable 'ice pack' that slots into the coolbox in the freezer so that we can check all options and will let you know the outcome.

Another Icey-Tek owner here. We have a 40 litre and 4 of the Aussie gelpacks. 2 to use and 2 to freeze. We swap them out on alternate days. It kept everything icey cold on a 10 day trip, no problem.
Was an expensive buy, but worth it.
