Hello all, I bought a caravan with awning but the poles are the wrong ones. They are too big. Have throught about cutting them down but would also need to get new junction parts as they send the poles out at a wider angle. Any ideas? It's a Bailey Oakmere 350/2.

bailey oakmere is the model of your caravan it has nothing to do with the awning at all, what make and model is the awning? are you totally sure you have the right poles in the right places?

As above swap the poles around and you might find that they fit???

Thanks all for your replies. I have tried them in various positions but there seems to be only one way they will fit. Some have been marked by the previous owner so I've started with that. The awning doesn't have any names or labels on that I can see so I don't know the make. Discovered yesterday that I have a flat tyre so I'm sorting that out today!

Hello again, The 'new' poles don't fit either. But I have noticed that it's an Isabell Combi. I'm wondering if it's just a porch awning because it only has one window panel on the front. Any ideas? Anyone know where I can get a replacement set of poles?

you can contact isabella but I really do think you just have the poles set out wrong. try watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAHUyBZguSQ if that fails contact isbella and ask them to send you out the instructions for your awning first

If the poles are lightweight , you can sell them to ofset your new ones .
