Hello

We're looking to buy one of those kitchen prep areas - those things where you pop your 'cooker' on the top, have a bit to the side to prep food and have zipped up storage underneath.

We intend to get good use out of it so don't mind spending for something really good quality and sturdy, and we can use it at home for barbecues. Any recommendations/things to avoid/look for?

Can't remember what brand it is though, go Outdoors do exactly the same one too. Very handy for cooking on and storing all our food. Found it to be very sturdy so could easily be used at home.

After replacing cheap concertina kitchens a few times, we bought a Quechua kitchen from Decathlon - superb quality, and a great price at £59.99. Really sturdy and packs away into a heavy duty bag. We've also got the matching cupboard.

The kitchen is listed on their website as a camping cupboard unit (picture is of it in the storage bag). I can't post a link because I don't know how to on my iPad! Definitely recommend this kitchen.

When it was on special and liked it so much got a second. You can have it high or low.

They also do a taller, narrower one with two shelves, and a single with a double shelved table attached.

We have this one. But its tried to eat my fingers once too often assembling it, I havnt used it for a while.



We took the top part off it along with splash guard and put it on this unit which just folds in half with the cupboards attached in seconds. Found it much better. Both units reggata and both from Argos.

Oh dear a finger eating Regatta kitchen whatever next. We were going to get the same one as Geoff but decided to get the non finger eating version instead. We don't even bother putting the storage units in now just use the 2 tables and shelves plus the windsheild

It's very sturdy and comes complete, with its own carrying case. You just hoick it out of the case and it unfolds and it's easy to fold up and pack again.

It seems remarkably good quality for the money.

Hello Fran. You click on the icon that shows the world and a chain link (above the box where you are composing a post/reply) and it will prompt you for the word you want to show underlined, linking to the website address (in this case 'these') and then it will prompt you to put in the whole URL which you will cut and paste from another browser window. I hope this makes sense?

Similar design to Geoffprinter's but it doesn't really have a brand. Have opened it up in my living room and was extremely easy to set up. The boards in the cupboard are a little soft so I will be replacing it when it starts to bother me. Very please and can't wait to test it out this weekend.
