Not sure if this is the place for this...I’m asking on behalf of my dad, who is planning to walk the Camino to Santiago de Compostela in Spain from St Jean Pied de Port in France.  He is looking for a “three-quarter length” lightweight waterproof jacket in a breathable fabric.  None of the jackets he's seen come below mid-thigh and he was hoping to find something which would cover more of his leg.

 Have you tried John Partridge or musko, they must have web sites if you put there name into a search engine.

i've passed your suggestions on, thank you.
i think waterproof trousers could be too hot but i've never tried breathable ones.
he's thinking a poncho might be a better idea as it would be well ventilated, but he's got plenty of time to decide.

thank you for your help, any more suggestions anyone?
