Hi, We have just changed our caravan and bought Lunar Quasar 554 and gave it it's first run out over the bank holiday. O/H decided to try the impressive shower in the van out and nearly froze himself to death! When we arrived I set up and the water on the main panel showed the symbol plus 40 deg. If you intend showering should this be on 60 deg or Boost? If so for how long, or would you normally set it at 60 deg? I did notice that washing dishes (at 40) the water was only warm and not really really hot as in our other van. This is whilst connected to EHU by the way. Help gratefully received.
40 deg C is tepid, it only just above body temperaure (37 deg C).It may be ok for hand washing after toilet but not much else.
In public buildings the hot water is always above 55 deg C to prevent legionella
Sorry to go off piste briefly. Are you Lunar owners happy with your 'vans? Service, build quality etc?
We're off to the Lawns tomorrow with a view to buying a new Lunar SI with the fixed transverse bed and end bathroom.
Have heard horror stories from one chap with a Lunar which spent more time at the dealer than with him. Good reports from two other serial Lunar owners and further terrible reports concerning the dealer the first guy had his Lunar from.
Interested to hear from other Lunar owners as to their views?
We have a 2014 Lunar Cosmos (Quasar) 525 and have had a few issues which have all been dealt with under warranty with no question. Only issue is that although Lunar are built in Lancashire many of their parts are imported and seems to be a 6 week wait for most parts. Overall happy with our choice of Lunar.

The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow won't wait while you finish the work.
