Has anybody had any problems with the new air awnings fitted to a Fiamma pull out sun shade track. Our new Kampa air awning fitted to the 4mm track of the fiamma shade when it rained, it collected the rain on the roof of the Kampa, causing the roof of the Kampa to collapse inwards jamming the habitation door, thereby trapping the occupants within the vehicle.
I believe the problem is that the Fiamma sun shade, when fitted to the side of the vehicle leaves a gap between the wall of the vehicle and the Kampa air awning, this gap causes the air tubes within the roof of the air awning to be suspended in middair, so you cannot get any tension on the air tube against the side of the vehicle, causing the roof material to be loose, thereby causing rain water to collect, which is fine when you are there, but if it pours in the middle of the night, or you are out for the day, oh dear!

I have the Kampa motor rally pro awning L. The vehicle we attach it to is a Bailey Approach 740. This vehicle is quite low.

Why not just gets some sides & front for your Fiamma roll out canopy? This will make a secure & weatherproof awning if storm straps are used on the ends of canopy.

I think you need the caravan version on a Bailey. What's the height from floor to awning rail?

I'm thinking of giving up on this waste of money. Air awnings, you can keep them, no help from Kampa!
