It will be my first trip to France with my new caravan..

Seems that French gas is much cheaper than UK calor, and I am drawn towards the 5kg "Le Cube" propane tanks which are available everywhere...most caravan tanks are Butane in France due to regulations.

Do I need a French address to register and purchase my first tank? All the forms I've seen ask for a French postcode..

I didn't need to supply a French post code when I bought a bottle in France, But you will need an adapter for the hose if you have a bulkhead mounted regulator in your van as the one fitted will not fit a French bottle
