Thanks to everyone who has replied I think I have a better idea of what to look for now but do they rub on the caravan bit concerned because don't go in down rails just the top rail. Thanks 😊

mine hasn't to be honest, but we use the rear upright poles to secure it. We also don't cross a window so can't comment on that one, i'm sure someone on here will have experience of this.

Hi, not straps just the guy ropes, on a 390 you have one each end and 3 out front. Our Isabella doesn't require any. The storm straps are internal if we ever need them.

When putting up an awning Its more satisfying by far to hit your husband with a steel awning pole (oops sorry darling) when he's calling you names than buffing him with an inflatable tube. In my opinion….

We have used our Kampa Rally Pro Air for 2 seasons; we have lots of long week-ends rather than one long break. We use the upright poles to secure against the van. We have no marks on the van from the awning, and we've had some pretty strong winds!!!!
We chose the air over standard as we both have heart problems and found once the standard was threaded through and the poles in the sleeves, that final lift of the awning had us both reaching for the GTN spray.!!!!!
We don't find threading the air a problem. I feed through which makes DH job of pulling through quite easy. He stands on the step and holds the awning close to the rail and this seems to reduce drag.

We have a vango...think it's a vankala...have yet to use it, but looked at loads at the show and thought this had the nicest quality material for the price and it came with all the rear poles, straps and everything included, whereas some of the other brands had these as optional extras. We'll be giving it a whirl at easter...hope it lives up to expectations.

We have a dorema magnum all season air awning, not knocking the product as it is great. I'm just not convinced they are much if any easier to put up. Taking down definitely quicker and drying by re inflating is a bonus but it still prefer my full awning.
