Not all caravan transformer/chargers work on 12v without a battery connected so even a dead, ie worn out battery connected when plugged into mains should give you your 12v for lights. However as your 240v is working you can plug in a table lamp or whatever.
If you mean you have blown air heating then I think that will need 12v to work fan. If you have gas heating then the normal Truma wall heater should work on gas without electric. Although, again as you have 240v then you can plug in a fan heater.
