If you look at their address on streetview you will find a private house. These web based businesses do not hold stock, they order from supplier once order is in so it's not suprising they come unstuck. I don't think they set out to deceive, they fail because they are no good at what they do.
You need to stick to online ordering from large suppliers like Amazon or Go Outdoors. For anybody else check contact address on streetview.
