omg yes! stopped using airbeds years ago! only sim to get a puncture has been when i let the campsite cat in my tent (i love cats). he put his claws through it! i could`ve repaired it....many come with a little repair kit.
We also have 3 children. They all sleep on roll mats with a sleeping bag. We have an airbed. We looked at a campbed / campbeds but they take up a lot of space.
With a SiM on the top. We also altered the legs so that they're slightly longer and put them in a separate bag and put them on when we put the tent up.
Its like a real bed and I can sit up in bed in the morning to read or have a morning cuppa
