We are selling our old caravan, Bailey Bretagne 2005, which has an Isabella awning size 1000. Our new caravan is a Lunar Venus 580 (collect it over the Easter hols). The manual says awning size is 1030. However, Isabella website says the A measurement is 1017 and recommend a 1025 awning. Bradcot website says we will need 1005 awning.
I am totally confused. I am not sure whether our old 1000 awning will fit the new caravan, or do we need to purchase a new one?
The difference between a 1000 and a 1025 awning is 250mm or 125mm each side (5")
I would try it, you have nothing to lose. If it is an acceptable fit you have saved some money, if not, dig into your wallet for a new one and sell the old one to offset some of the cost
Or you could get your existing one extended.
Put it on and measure how much short it is either end. Phone one of the several firms who advertise on the Web for a quote
I had one of mine extended several years ago -- cost about £90 and you can barely see where it was done.

Definitely try it first. I changed my van and the specifications and Isabella websites both said the awning size was 1000. I tried my existing Isabella which was 975 and it fits perfectly.
Isabella hq is in Thame. They will extend your existing awning and are extremely good and also very good value for money. You can even drop it off and collect if it works for you.
