We saw a beautiful awning this summer while on holiday in Holland and are planing to order one. It's a Unico Verona awning - which only seems to be available for delivery to the UK from a Dutch company called Bax Totaalrecreatie.
I've seen a number of excellent reviews of the awning from UK customers of this business, and hope that some of you are on here to help us out with some of the finer points.
The awning is made to measure and the company has asked for some measurements. On the diagram, it looks like measurement A is from the very base at the back of the caravan to the back of the jockey wheel. My husband is thinking that they actually want the awning rail measurement.
All the instructions are in Dutch and Google Translate is proving to be less than helpful.
Any hints or tips from those "in the know" would be much appreciated!
Sounds good ! Can't help with the instructions but I'll bet they speak English.
Why not phone or email either asking the above question or asking them for an English translation ?

Awning appears to come in standard sizes with normal measurements from ground up around awning rail & back to ground. It's Bax that make the awnings. Here. I'd phone them, the Dutch speak fluent enough English if they want your money.
laineymac,
If in doubt i wouldn't hesitate to phone as most Dutch people know excellent English.......but if you do have problems if you paste the instructions/ phrase here i can translate for you....well hubby can, as i know Google translate can be even more confusing than the actual text you want translated.
