Update on the kettle. I noticed the kettle doesn't turn off once it boils. Anyone else had this? Or has mine got a faut? I bet there's no more in the shop so might have to li ve with it.

Mine took about 10 seconds to turn off once the ketlle sounded like there was a rolling boil going on

Ours does similar (slow to turn off)... Different make/model/retailer, but still a cheap. plastic, small, low watt thing!

Went in for the 40lt water container to replace the 20lt one that I have. This one came with the side and top fill,fill hose, handle with "soft grip," tyres for better traction and full instructions for use? but for £30 not bad. OH picked up the kettle. Its a bit slower than the low wattage one we have but I kept pulling the knob off the lid on the old one.
Thanks for the heads up.

Spotted the floor mats when in there last week... they even have a grass effect now! Not as nice as my plastic lawn, of course, but still fun, I guess!

Anyway, I was rather unimpressed with how thin they seemed. Having since checked the spec, it appears they are 10mm thick, compared to the 12 mm I have (Just checked my original order Email) but the visual difference seems to be rather more than that! Like I say, disappointingly thin, in my opinion. I'd certainly be happy to pay a little more for the thicker type, even if it is only 2mm... and even if mine are only plain old boring grey!

We bought the step and my hubby has fitted wood struts across the bottom so doesn't sink in ground, very stable and does the job well.
