Is it possible to buy a Camping Gaz connector with two outlets? My daughter's campervan has very little space and rather than carry two cylinders (one for the cooker and one for her gas BBQ) I wondered if there exists a twin outlet connector that could service both appliances from the same cylinder. Thanks.
If bottle uses screw in regulator then best way is to get a Y piece here so you end up with 2 hoses going from one. Make connections on Y piece with jubilee clips of course. Dip hose ends in boiling water to soften to push on easily the secure with jubilee clips. Your local caravan shop will probably stock them.
Are both appliances likely to be in use at the same time?
If not, the BBQ could be fitted with a metre of hose and its own regulator, and the cylinder could be removed from its locker when required, which would mean it could be positioned well away from the 'van if needed.
Thank you all for such prompt replies and advice.
I respond to each reply in the order I received your advices:
+ Open Sauce - Y connector sounds a good cheap option if she can store the BBQ close to the bottle in the van. (Our plan is that the BBQ will have a 5 metre hose connected to it so that she can cook on it outside whilst still being able to use the cooker inside).
+ Duffs 54 - looks promising but will need to check the 'technicals'.
+ Hacksaw Bob. Your suggestion is much in line with our thinking - see above - but we are trying to avoid getting the gas cylinder out of its compartment every time she uses the BBQ and, yes, she will need to use both outlets at the same time.
+ Andy Monty. It is a bottle top one.
Thanks again for your help.
