Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me out!
I recently bought a Wisp 470/2 but the water system has me scratching my head!
I need to get a dangly water pump for it but there are so many different ones and I'm not sure which one I need... also what size water pipes? I never thought there would be so many different types and sizes lol
I've looked online and through the manual but can't find what I'm looking for!
Also, could someone please confirm that this caravan has a built in 12v battery charger please?
Thank you!! :)

The pump type you need will depend on what type of end fixing it has. Once you have located where it plugs in on the outside of the van, have a look at the shape of it. You can then find a pump that has the right type of end on it. Worth double checking all over the caravan that there isn't already one in there somewhere. It might have been left in one of the lockers if it wasn't in the sink.

As for pipes, do you mean to take the water to the taps? If so, they should already be there. It would be very unusual for them to have been taken out.

Thank you for getting back to me! :)
I've had a good look alright and haven't found a pump anywhere! There are so many different ones I just wasn't sure!
It has two small holes (I'm assuming for power) to the right... horizontally placed and then one slightly larger plastic hole to the left (for the water?)... just not sure what name to search for!

As for the hoses... now that I think about it I guess the clean water goes up through the pump pipe but do I need a separate hose to take the grey water from the caravan to the container? that's what seems to be missing!

Thanks again!

Yes thank you, I believe they are the same :)

Can anyone please tell me if I need to purchase a grey water outlet hose, to connect to outside of caravan & also if the 12v battery automatically charges when hooked up to mains?

Thanks again :)

Hi again you should have a water outlet either on the back of your van or on the side that your toilet is on. It will be at the bottom of the body work there may be 1 or 2. If you find them or know where they are then you need to buy grey water outlet hose. From memory there are 2 sizes. I know our first 2 vans took the smaller size but the one we have now takes the larger. Hope that makes sense.

as for the battery it should have a charger not sure if yours will cut in automatically or whether there will be a switch to turn the charger on. Our first van had a switch to turn the charger on I think the second charged all the time as I don't remember having to switch anything for it and I know our current van is automatic.

If you don't have the manuals/handbook try e-mailing Elddis to see if they still have any or I did notice on their website there is an Elddis owners group.

Hope this is of some help
