Hi all, I have decided to go with the double camp bed and sims. But such a good choice of sims don't know which one to choose.
Have found a site that sells the Outwell 2015 black sims 7.5cm for around £30.00 is this ok.Also found some sites with a make by the name of Andes on them, are these any good?
Hopeing someone can help.
Dont have much money to spare.
We use a 5cm Andes double SIM (on the ground, no camp bed). We got it because it was significantly cheaper than the recognised brand names and have never had any problems with it.
Just looked at the Andes but would these be ok to go on a double camping bed as there is a bar in the middle?
Just to say that the camp bed is an Outwell Posadas which has a bar down the middle.
So do I need to get a double with a fridge in the centre or do I need to singles
We got ours from Amazon a few years ago. I can't remember how much we paid for it, but from what I remember it was less than half the price of the big brands.
I can't answer any questions about putting a double SIM on two single camp beds - I've never tried. I think I remember seeing a thread on here with details though, might be worth searching.
These are worth a look another generic brand and forget their tents, we have the 2 x single 10cm Skandika Sims on a double posados and very comfortable I managed to get 2 on auction for below £40 inc of delivery.
Amazon Skandika 7.5cm double or another £7 for 10cm
I have the Outwell 10cm, really comfortable, can't comment on the others as haven't tried them but I have to admit I sleep really well on the Outwell :)

Have Outwell will travel
We have the double Posadas and double Outwell Dreamboat, works perfectly, hardly notice the middle bar.
------------- 2018 & so it begins.
April - please, just one weekend!
May - Who knows....
June - Tristram, Polzeath 10 nights
August - Dartmouth Regatta 4 nights
We got a double 10cm Andes last year. It didn't inflate to anywhere near 10cm even on adding extra puff. Adding the extra air also made it far too hard so let it find its own level of inflation. However, we didn't feel the ground (and I'm on the heavier side) and after the first couple of nights we were perfectly comfortable and slept fine. We don't have camp beds so can offer no help there I'm afraid. No hesitation about using it again and haven't looked to replace.
My parents did use it to top the very lumpy sofa bed at Christmas and said they didn't feel the bars in that so I guess similar to a camp bed.
