I've been looking around on Amazon and the like for a fold up table to carry in our Pennine Pullman to replace two quite old and patched up folding tables.
One thing I seem to notice is that as soon as you think family sized the weight just goes ridiculous..
Amazon Van Hasen I think it's called. Probably not the lightest but I like it.
Just remember if you buy it, check the edges mind was bashed a bit could hardly notice it and we use a cloth anyway but I took photos and sent them to the seller, offered my a fiver Off I said 10 and10 it was.
We got a round plastic table with detachable legs from hyper U in France last year. Very light but sturdy and just the right size.
Costco do folding tables, but may be too heavy if weight is a concern. We used one of these before but now is used at home for bbq's.
Yeah I saw the ones I think your referring to at Costco... You eyes see a plastic table, easy to pick up! Your arms tell you your an idiot they actually weigh a ton!
I'll keep my eyes on the Aldi/Lidl stuff I guess as we get closer to summer.
We have the Outwell Hamilton table and find it excellent. Big enough for a family, fairly light, height adjustable and easy to level on a sloping pitch!
------------- Better a rainy day in a tent than a sunny day in the office!
