Hi, can anyone recommend a suitable camping stove that doesn't take up to much room, is quite light weight as I would need to carry in a pannier. Also most acessible appropriate fuel type.
depending on your budget i'd say something like a MSR multifuel stove and run it off petrol, cost about £90 - £100, you can get cheaper clones for about £50
or a coleman sportster and run that off petrol, cost about £60
Petrol will burn a lot hotter than an alcohol stove or even gas stoves, cuts cooking time and fuel costs down, and you can get petrol absolutely everywhere.

Edelrid hexon multifuel.
The burner fits in a pocket and the fuel bottle pump is under a litre. It will run on gas, petrol and kerosene. It also has a trangia adapter.
If you are on a motorbike, you are carrying the fuel already.
You can get them for about £100.
