What is the best way to stop the jockey wheel from sinking into soft ground? We ended up using a chock but it didn't look all that stable. Also, recommendation for caravan levels please? We seem to have lost one :(. TIA
I have 6 wooden chocks, 1 for under each foot (saves screwing legs all the way to the ground as well as increasing the footprint) and 2 on top of each other at jockey wheel (put under the post NOT the wheel.
Simples and oh free...

wooden chock. (when needed)
But to be honest i lift my jockey wheel up and release the hand brake after i have set up, then put hitch lock and draw bar cover on. (only when on level hard standing)
And when am on Cs sites i carry 1/2 a dozen 6 x 2 chocks in case i need them.
I always carry a few pieces of wood off-cuts in the front locker, along with my home-made wooden levelling block, also made from off-cuts. I use pieces of wood under the corner steadies, and under the jockey wheel if necessary.
We used a small plastic chopping board under the jockey wheel and each of the steadies. They were less than £1 each from Tesco, easily rinsed and had a handle!
I use a wheel chock with no issues so far, however, mine is only a Brenderup 1150s trailer and not a caravan.
