I have some similar 1.5w panels, they are OK for small SLA batteries that are stored in the shed. Prevents them draining but little more.
You maybe OK if you only draw enough current for a gloworm of an LED.
If its just for a stored but disconnected battery then a 5w panel will be OK. If its connected with an alarm etc then something bigger will be needed. If its for a battery in use then 50w upwards. I had a pair of 25w panels connected to a pair of batteries (200ah in total), Luckily we got plenty of sun and i moved the panels to get the best position.
