After checking out the prices of batteries I bought my Lucas 100 ah leisure battery from a place in Cannock 3 years ago as they sell high quality batteries at low prices. I found them to be quite helpful too when I explained the size of the caravan battery compartment as the lifting handles on the top can sometimes be a tight squeeze to slide it in.

Having just bought a battery last week, something I found out was that there are now batteries that are NCC approved.
The ones they have approved have thicker plates in them to allow a lot more charging.

Thicker plates in the battery do allow more charging and this video (link) will provide more information on this topic.
Leisure batteries is a topic on this forum that appears to get asked more frequently than other subject so it's worth to watch and learn.
