Hi, we   are off   in a weeks time for the 2nd time
in a rented   Chausson last time it had just
three gas rings & grill, we would like to   buy a micro-wave cooker any ideas   of what sort be   best?,    NOW   been told   does not want one of those
but a normal small oven & were from. !!!!!!!!

Might be an idea to check with the hiring company whether A) Either type of oven might already be fitted to the model you're hiring, and B) they have any objection to your temporarily fitting one?

We had a Goodmans combination oven in our caravan. Combination ovens have 3 functions:
Grill.
Normal oven.
Microwave oven.

Or cooking programs having a combination of more than one. I think it was 1150w electrical input 800w microwave output.

Before buying a standalone oven(of any sort) just to use in a rented motorhome, think on about where you will securely stow it when travelling and whereabouts in the van you will sit in when in use.
A stand alone "camping" oven will not be a small, lightweight item.

You would be better off just adapting your menu to suit the cooking "appliances" the van has.

..either that or just get a small halogen oven(which would have a use at home)
