Any recommendations? Not taken one away before but was told a kettle type one as after cooking if could be used as a fire for warmth ??? Still new to all this and first time going away just us next month so need to bring everything ourselves ☺☺☺

Weber Go Anywhere

You can pack charcoal, tools etc inside it. Cooks brilliantly, works well as a firepit. Fits into car boot better than round versions.
(Lots of places sell them, that's just the first link I googled.)

Great BBQ and little fire pit. Fits easily into car boot if left in box. Probably doesn't take up much more room than a Weber Go Anywhere.

Yet another vote for the Weber Go Anywhere charcoal BBQ. We take it to sites that don't provide a firepit and use it for cooking and warmth. Those bags of charcoal that you just light at the corners fit perfectly in there. After cooking, we just add a heatlog or two and have managed to get away with it even on sites that don't allow campfires.

Weber Smokey Joe, been using mine 12 years now. Also worth buying the charcoal starter as it's fab to start the coals and great for having the fire in after the food.

Thanks for the recommendation, bought one Tuesday and it's bloody brilliant.

Google Norwich camping & leisure, they've got them on special for 63 quid
