What do I need to be able to use our Campingaz Camping Chef stove with a calor bottle?

Time for a refill and cannot justify the Campingaz prices anymore.

Just a new regulator I believe - a Calor one to fit the Calor bottle, I would probably get new hose as well just because it is easier but up to you

The type of regulator depends on if you are keeping with butane as the Camping Gaz would be or are using propane.

Calor's butane come in blue coloured bottles and there are different butane specific regulators for the small bottles and the larger so care is needed.
Calor's propane comes in red coloured bottes but independent of size they use the same propane specific regulator.

It is in reality not complex just needs being aware and buying what is needed.

Replace your regulator with an EN417 regulator. This is a standard EU fitting, screw-in, which will allow you a wide choice of butane/propane cannisters at much less that Campingaz prices.

Cost about a tenner, just Google for outlets.

For something a bit bigger, a regulator for 4.5Kg Calor containers will do the trick.
