Hello,

I was wondering what people did with babies when they went away in their caravan. I have a six month old and we have no room in our van for a cot or a travel cot. Her brother is on the top bunk of the van and when we went away before she was in a small baby nest thing that we put in top of the bottom bunk. She has outgrown it now but just putting her into the bottom bunk bed st six months old seems unsafe. What does everyone do?

Thanks. The bassinet i would hscd no where to put and it looks unstable to be on a bed. The other thing looks fab although it says suitable from eighteen months so a bit worried about using it with a baby? Anyone done this?

Have you tried the mesh material bed guards that fit under mattress. We have used them in past with success. They can vary in size/ length so may need some research.
Failing that how about the small inflable beds, like baby dinghys. Could one fit between front beds if you sleep as singles down front.
