Have thought about buying a cadac for a couple of years now and have decided to buy one before we go away in August for 2 weeks. I have also seen an advert for the camping gaz party grill just wondered which is the best Cadac or the Camping gaz?

We have the Cadac Carri Chef Deluxe and would highly recommend it. It is big enough to use as a family bbq but also not a pain for only two. We bought some extras to change the style of food we were cooking so have added the paella pan and recently a pizza stone. The paella pan is big enough for 6 hungry people or 8 sensible eaters. The pizza stone I thought might be a gimmick but was pleasantly surprised with a Tesco's pre packed (I normally turn my nose up at these but wanted to try the stone) pizza which was cooked perfectly. The normal stuff that comes with the bbq such as the grill and plate are most commonly used. The grill, like all, can be a pain to clean as it is a coated cast iron grill so cleaning it is a delicate affair so not as to damage the coating or more commonly we use the plate which is quick and easy to clean. I cannot comment on whether it is better than the other one, but I can say that the Cadac is great and I have no reservations in recommending it.

we bought the party grill a few years ago after seeing one used by fellow campers. Since then my three adult children have bought one each.so easy to clean and portable.

I had the same decision to make a few weeks ago and plumped for the Cadac - largely because of the availability of spares and the expansion capacity into different types of cooking.

After using our cadac for the first time last week, we used it pretty much much every day for all different types cooking, most commonly as a griddle pan, for meat. We also have the pizza stone, but have not used it yet. Will be trying it out when we go to the new forest.
I highly recommend the cadac, and would buy another straight away if anything happens t ours ( I hope it don't as its only been used for a week holiday so far)

Buy a real barbecue. And a gas ring. And save a fortune.

I would tend to agree, despite buying a Cadac I still like a proper charcoal bbq but needs must as we are visiting sites this year which don't allow BBqs except in designated areas, one of them not at all - and didn't fancy cooking in the van all the time.

I went to Go Outdoors specifically for a Campingaz party Grill 200, but came away with a Cadac Safari Chef 2.

Cost a bit more, but far more versatile, better made and you're not stuck with Campingaz gas, which is the most expensive.

I moved to a caravan from a tent a couple of years ago, but missed the outside cooking. With the Safari Chef I can cook every meal I want to outside as well as using it for evening barbies.

We got the cadac carri chef 2 about 4 or 5 years ago and we love it, its more than big enough for our trips to europe & its so versatile you can cook anything on it, We got it from Go Outdoors, they beat the price from the cheapest we found online by 10% & still do this offer, cant comment on the party grill but our old campingaz stove done us well

Yes you can, as long as it he low pressure , and not high pressure cadac. I do the same thing, bought two quick relese couplings from eBay, so it's a quick swap from cooker to bbq, without having to swap over pipes from bbq to cooker to use the Same regulator.
