This looks like a pretty good bit of kit, nice size (40l) cools down to a claimed 16 degrees below ambient and not a bad price.

Does anyone have any experience with it? The one we have at the moment was a 14 quid special from Aldi's nearly 10 years ago so we've had our money's worth and it must be about due to bite the dust!!

16 below ambient doesn't leave a lot of leeway
Wouldn't really want to use it on any day over 20°c

This looks like an updated version of our coolbox, we have no complaints at all, keeps everything nice and cool. The dual voltage is a great feature. Don't worry about the 16 degrees, we've never had a problem with warm beer!

We have had ours for about 4 years, it keeps everything cold, never had a problem with it, used it when touring Europe too for transporting food between sites, a fab piece of kit

We use one of those cheap wireless thermometers to keep a check on what our portable fridge is running at, worthwhile if you are storing meat and dairy etc in it.

Just bought one and tested it over half term. Worked really well - everything nice and cold. The reviews do note that it is noisy which indeed it is. However, we solved this turning the control down until you can just hear the fan for overnight and adjusting to full power during the day. Good capacity too. Recommended.

We took to portmadoc last summer when we had a week's heatwave. It actually froze up 2 evenings. Best of the various coolboxes we have used.
