We have bought a Isabella Magnum and the Bolon flooring- B & Q Tarpaulin directly on the grass, Bolon on top.
We've then put an Outwell carpet ( from tent days) on top to make it cosy.
The carpet is especially wet on entrance, but now blobs of wet everywhere. we have the awning skirt flared out with a few rocks here and there, The tarpaulin just exceeds the awning flared edges. It's all been pegged down.
If the tarp "exceeds" the awning "flared edges", is water not just running down the walls, onto the tarp edge and then making it's way back under/in?....
(Your floor tarp/sheets shouldn't extend past the outer walls/skirt)

should the awning edges be folded down to make a neat join with the walls? or flared?
The Bolon is a breathable carpet and should not have anything underneath it.If you put a tarpaulin under and another carpet on top it will stink underneath as the water cannot go anywhere and it will all die and turn to mud.
Carpet and tarp should be inside the awning and not visible from outside. Mud flaps on that awning should be tucked inside and the elastics pegged down. I would not recommend using a tarp personally it's not needed.

I was going to say much the same. Just googled some pics of it, and agree totally, them flaps should be inside

I would have the mud wall on the awning turning in that way the rain runs down and under you carpet.
Exactly what I would say too (I decided I'd better read the thread first, to see if anyone else had said it first!).
When we had caravans we always had Isabella awnings - including a Magnum - and always put the rain flaps inside. Put a waterproof groundsheet overlapping the flaps (PVC type is heavier and more dense than a B&Q tarp) then either the bolon or the carpet over that. Not both. Or, put the carpet down on top of the Bolon just when you need it (you will get condensation under overnight, otherwise).
Isabella bolon is really a breathable groundsheet, designed to go straight onto the grass. Yes, it'll let some water up if it does get underneath, but it'll also allow it to drain away very quickly as well.
