Bought the smaller (75cm) today.
Lovely height and our Coleman Fyrechampion fits perfectly with plenty of room for the hose attachment. Two aluminium edged shelves and a windbreak for the stove which is uneccessary for the Coleman.
A little wobbly but a solid bamboo top and with a little more weight on top and on the shelves, will be fine. Pull out metal bracket that holds Outwells "Collaps" rectangular bowl but also holds one of our wooden chopping boards so an instant extension. A couple of hooks to hang bits and pieces but there are also 6 pockets on the left side which will hold additional utensils.
The whole thing collapses and fits neatly in to its own carry bag. Taunton Leusure had the best offer with an additional 5% off if you subscribe to their newsletter. Everyone appears to be out of stock of the XL & for an extra £40, you only get another 25cm.....

I don't think that Outwell produced very many of these, this season. I wonder why?
I'd appreciate an update from anyone who has one, as I find it enough of a chore keeping wooden surfaces at home in nice condition. How have the bamboo tops performed?
I quite like the look of the Vango bamboo range this year, so if anyone has any experience or opinions to share on those, please do so!

We've got both of the Padras now - managed to find an XL at Taunton Leisure (well, they sent us an email alert!). The height is what sells it to us, its perfect but we do use a waterproof tablecloth on the XL as the stove goes on that one and the remaining surface area is used for food prep. It just makes life a bit easier to clean and we want to preserve it for as long as possible. I don't think it would put up with high, direct heat so we always have a chopping board on the side which acts as a sort of trivet..
On longer camps, we take both, my wife uses the smaller one to wash up dishes in the tent as opposed to going to the campsite wash-up but she uses a draining board and a draining cloth (Aldi I think) which does protect the bamboo surface to some degree but also does get a little wet however, without any problems at all.
I suspect the limited availability in the UK was price, not a cheap item and perhaps Outwell were dipping their toe in to test the appeal of perhaps a higher end range?
In summary, very well made, sturdy and smart looking, easy to assemble and disassemble.
PS. We don't use either of the windshield because we have the Fyrechampion so the wind just wont blow the flame out; a little lighter for transportation!
