I know there is much discussion on this on what is best etc, but after death of our aerobed, decision has been made to go for a 10cm double SIM, I was happy with 7.5 cm but have been instructed otherwise. Will be used on floor as tents we have not long enough for the extra length camp beds i require, and also some of the SIMs out there not long enough, 195cm is a minimum, though 130cm width is wide enough as oversize in only one direction.
So bearing in mind budget, can't justify going over the £100 mark for this and would prefer a little less if possible and so with this in mind looks like it is down to either the Outwell Dreamcatcher 10cm double or Vango comfort 10cm double. Seen the more expensive ones and some cheaper ones but think it is going to be between the two.
What experiences do others have with either of these (or even better both), especially looking at longevity .
Hi
Both are great products, we have shocked both over the years but have settled on the Vango Sims as we just never have any issues with them. Cheaper Sims tend to shiny fabric where the Outwell and Vango have a nice brushed finish which better for sleeping bags etc

Cheers - I also have a Vango XL 5cm , and the kids have Vango's too and been very pleased with them.
------------- We have lots of tents, big tents, small tents, middle sized tents, old tents, new tents, ancient reproduction tents, tents for any and every occasion.
Heads up to anyone after a outwell dreAm catcher 10cm sim.
